The ceiling becomes structure, the floor becomes the earth

Tighter classes here are reached by covering more of the ceiling with fan filter units. Once coverage climbs, the ceiling stops being a finish and becomes a structural element carrying weight, services and access. Static control works the same way from below: the dissipative property belongs to the floor build-up and its grounding network, and it cannot be added as a coating at the end.

• Electrostatic discharge control is specified separately from particle classification and is assessed against IEC 61340-5-1.
• ESD flooring, grounding and ionisation are part of the room specification, not an accessory added afterwards.
• Vibration and electromagnetic conditions matter for precision work and belong in the site assessment.

Semiconductor cleanrooms in Penang and the northern corridor

Most of Malaysia's semiconductor and electronics capacity sits in Penang, Kulim and Batu Kawan, and most cleanroom work there is an extension or a reclassification inside a plant that is already running. That makes the shutdown window the binding constraint on the programme rather than the material lead time, and it is worth fixing before anything else is agreed.

Facility documentation carries unusual weight here, because device and semiconductor customers audit their suppliers' plants. The records matter as much as the room does.

We supply cleanroom systems, materials and project coordination for facilities in Penang, Kedah and across the northern corridor. Construction works are carried out by CIDB-registered contractors appointed for the project, and classification testing is carried out by an independent party.
